Tiberius Jocundus

Grand Vizier of Chaos & Chief Feline Officer, Curious Whimsy

Tiberius Jocundus, Grand Vizier of Chaos, wearing his ceremonial steampunk top hat

T.J. — Tiberius Jocundus

Grand Vizier of Chaos · Est. Whenever He Decided

✦   Official Dossier   ✦

"He did not apply for this position.
He simply appeared, sat down, and refused to move.
Leadership was declared."

⚙   Origin & Ascension

The exact circumstances of Tiberius Jocundus's rise to power remain shrouded in the kind of mystery he cultivates deliberately — mostly by sitting on important papers and pretending not to hear his name. What is known is this: he arrived, he surveyed the domain of Curious Whimsy, and he approved. Conditionally.

His full title was not bestowed. It was simply understood. The steampunk hat was his own idea.

⚙   Known Behaviors

Unlike most cats, who regard their humans as inconvenient furniture, Tiberius operates with a dog's devotion wrapped in feline plausible deniability. He comes when called — not because he has to, but because he has assessed the situation and determined his presence is required. He dispenses headbutts and kisses with the generosity of a diplomat at a state dinner, and he will follow you from room to room not out of neediness, but to supervise.

When he does not wish to do something, however, Tiberius employs what staff have come to call The Weight. Physically, he is a normal-sized cat. Spiritually, he becomes four hundred and thirty pounds of warm, unbudgeable intention. No amount of coaxing, negotiation, or bribery has ever moved him before he was ready. This is not stubbornness. This is governance.

⚙   Role at Curious Whimsy

Tiberius serves as Grand Vizier, Chief Feline Officer, and Primary Quality Inspector for all things peculiar. Every item that leaves this workshop has, at some point, passed beneath his gaze. His approval is non-verbal and not guaranteed. His disapproval is also non-verbal, but involves sitting directly on whatever you are trying to photograph.

He is currently accepting commissions for modeling services, provided the hat is acceptable, the lighting is flattering, and someone has recently fed him. He will not be rushed. He will not be underpaid. He is, after all, the Grand Vizier.
